'80s Wedding
Part I
There's so much detail
in this picture. First, there's the Stevie Nicks
hat, dress and make-up trio. Then there's the clenched
fists and the knitted brow of someone who isn't
sure she really wants to get married. Then there's
the date on the lower right-hand corner of the photo
that proves the scene does in fact take place in
the '80s. Then there's the New York license plate
on the Ford Escort parked behind them in the carport.
The final, very subtle detail almost goes unnoticed.
A couple of different pairs of hands barely appear
at the bottom right-hand corner, below the date,
giving the viewer the knowledge that there's an
unfortunate audience to this awkward moment in history. |
