Finn’s songs always stick in my head for quite a while, including this one. Finn lives in Chicago and is also in the band The Saturday Nights.

Tim Jones has a solo career in Los Angeles, and he also plays with Chevy Downs in Indiana.

David “Moose” Adamson of BIGBIGcar has a funky/folky sound that I find pretty unique. BIGBIGcar’s MySpace page describes them as “folk/punk/experimental,” which somehow makes sense.

I got a lot of Marty’s songs on video, and it was hard to pick which one to show. All of his stuff is really good.

I really love the rhythm of this song and how there’s such an interesting contrast between the guitar and vocals. Right on, PJ!
This baby was placed in various spots around my house in Indianapolis for quite a while. Then some mysterious person (LonPaul?) put it in the ultimate spot near the top, where it stayed until I moved.

This guy was at a very busy corner in Chinatown on a Saturday afternoon. Visit my Flickr page to see a larger photo.

I was so happy that the Ebb & Flow agreed to play my found art show. I love the balls-out, super long intro on this one and how it takes half the song to build up. When Roshy Kheshti’s vocals do finally start, they’re yet another layer in the band’s unusual and undulating tapestry of sound.

I organized a couple of found art shows last year, and Aim Low Kid played the second one with the Ebb & Flow and Leyna Noel (whom I unfortunately didn’t get on video..) The slides that I projected behind the bands made for some interesting footage.
This was conceived and filmed by Green Dale Figueora for an art show I hosted a couple of years ago called Feelings. I did the editing…
